Ami Vora, VP, Product & Design - WhatsApp at Meta, has a long and impressive work history. Ami started their career at Microsoft where they were a Program Manager and Product Manager for Visual Studio & .NET. Ami was responsible for launching the .NET Framework 3.0 worldwide, which was Microsoft's biggest developer platform at the time. Nikhil Shanbhag is the VP, Associate General Counsel - Competition & Telecommunications at Meta. Nikhil has over fifteen years of experience as an attorney advising clients on a wide range of regulatory, antitrust, and compliance issues. 

Nikhil Shanbhag's career began in 1999 as a Business Analyst at [Capital One](/org/capital-one). In 2001 he sold [Naughty Dog](/org/naughty-dog) to Sony Computer Entertainment America and continued to lead the company until late 2004.

In 2006 he formed Flektor, Inc., an online mash-up tool that Launched in April of 2007. The tool quickly passed 1 million users, and less than a month later Flektor was acquired by Fox Interactive Media and the technology was folded into MySpace.

In May of 2012, backed by an investment bank, he joined the then public company THQ as President. 

He joined [Oculus](/org/oculus-inc) as Head of Studios in 2014 and led the team that brought the first wave of VR content to the [Oculus](/org/oculus-inc) PC and Mobile platforms. On October 26th, 2020 they launched Cloud Gaming on Facebook, an expansion of its game offering.

Before joining Meta Nick Clegg was a Member of Parliament in the UK. He served as Deputy Prime Minister in the UK’s Coalition Government from 2010-2015. He was Leader of the [Liberal Democrats](/org/the-liberal-democrats-limited) from 2007-2015 and was the Member of Parliament for Sheffield Hallam from 2005-2017.

Prior to his entry into British politics, Nick Clegg served as a Member of the European Parliament (1999-2004) on trade and industry affairs and as an international trade negotiator in the European Commission dealing with the accession of China and Russia into the World Trade Organisation.

Will Cathcart is the head of WhatsApp, overseeing development and strategy. Will joined Meta, then called Facebook, in 2010 and has worked on a number of product efforts, including leading product development for News Feed and the introduction of advertising into News Feed and on mobile. In 2018, Will was VP of the Facebook app where he oversaw the development and strategy for all Facebook app products including Video, Groups, Marketplace, News Feed, Stories, and more.

Naomi Gleit is head of product at Meta, formerly Facebook. She leads the team building products and tools that work across technologies. Naomi also oversees the growth team, integrity team, and social impact team.

As one of the company’s first employees, Naomi has worked on almost every major initiative in its history, including most recently the COVID-19 Information Center and the Voting Information Center. She was a founding member and leader of the growth team that helped the Facebook app grow from 1 million people when she joined 16 years ago to over 3 billion today.

Naomi graduated from Stanford with a degree in Science, Technology and Society; she wrote her thesis on Facebook. She’s now on the board of The Primary School, serving children and their families in East Palo Alto.

Before that, she was head of product management for Revolution Money, an early stage start-up working on person-to-person online money transfers. Marne began her career at the United States Department of Treasury under President Bill Clinton.

Sandra Altine is the VP, Workplace Diversity & Inclusion at Facebook. She joined Facebook in January 2020 from [Moody's Corporation](/org/moodys), where she had been Managing Director, Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion. 
 Prior to joining Moody’s, she was the Chief Operating Officer and a senior consultant at The Future Work Institute, a global diversity and inclusion consulting firm. Sandra has over fifteen years of diversity and human resources-related experience. Sandra started her career at J P Morgan Chase as a manager in Global Trade Operations. Sandra transitioned to Human Resources and held a variety of leadership positions. While there, she was a key architect of the firm’s diversity agenda and ensured that diversity was linked to all HR processes. Her roles also included Leadership Development Manager overseeing management development curriculum design and delivery across the U.S., Europe and Latin America and HR Change Management Practice Lead.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in symbolic systems from [Stanford University](/org/stanford) in 2004, Chris joined Meta, then called Facebook, in 2005 as a software engineer and helped build the first versions of key Facebook features, including News Feed. He then became director of human resources, setting the tone for the company’s culture. In 2008, he became vice president of product, building out the initial product management and design teams, before being promoted to chief product officer in 2014. Kevin J. Martin was nominated to be a member of the [Federal Communications Commission](/org/federal-communications-commission) by President George W. Bush on April 30, 2001, and was sworn in on July 3, 2001. He was designated chairman by President George W. Bush on March 18, 2005. Chairman Martin was re-nominated for a second term as commissioner and chairman by President George W. Bush on April 25, 2006.

Chairman Martin joined the Commission from the White House, where he served as a Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and was on the staff of the National Economic Council. In that capacity, he focused primarily on commerce and technology policy issues. He also served as the official U.S. government representative to the G-8's Digital Opportunity Task Force, a government, non-profit, and private sector task force created to identify ways in which the digital revolution can assure opportunities for developing countries.

Prior to joining the Bush Administration, Chairman Martin served as a principle technology and telecommunications advisor on the Bush-Cheney Transition team. He assumed this role after serving as the Deputy General Counsel to the Bush campaign in Austin, Texas from July 1999 through December 2000.

Maxine Williams is the chief diversity officer at Meta, formerly Facebook, and she serves as a member of Meta’s most senior executive leadership team under the CEO.

Maxine’s team works to increase cognitive diversity — different ways of thinking based on different backgrounds, experiences and information — of all Meta teams and integrate diverse perspectives into policy and product development. Maxine and her team also develop strategies to attract, retain and support the growth of underrepresented people at the company.

Andrew Bosworth — or Boz, as most people know him — is CTO of Meta, most recently having led the the Reality Labs team. Andrew graduated from Harvard in 2004 before working as a developer on Microsoft Visio for almost two years. He joined Mark Zuckerberg at what was then called Facebook in January of 2006 where he created News Feed and many early anti-abuse systems, some of which are still in production. After working briefly on optimizing site speed and reliability, Andrew established and ran the company’s six-week bootcamp program designed to help grow the engineering team and maintain its culture. He then led the integration of the Messages and Chat products while improving stability, followed by tenures leading the Groups, Messenger and Video Calling teams. At various times, he has been the engineering director overseeing Events, Places, Photos, Videos, Timeline, Privacy, Mobile Monetization and Feed Ads. Bosworth has also served as the VP of Ads and Business Platform where he led engineering, product, research, analytics, and design. In 2017, he created the company’s AR/VR organization, now called Reality Labs. Andrew leads Meta’s efforts in AR, VR, AI and consumer hardware across Quest, Portal, Ray-Ban Stories and more.
