Neil Weiss

Neil (Dov) Weiss is a seasoned research engineer at Meta since January 2018, specializing in the exploration of physiological signals and the development of algorithms for signal classification. Concurrently, Weiss serves as a graduate research associate at the Laboratory for Intelligent Imaging and Neural Computing, focusing on brain-computer interfaces, virtual reality integration, and machine learning techniques. Previous experience includes roles as an engineer and head of business development at SenseAbility Labs, where Weiss developed a pressure-sensing shoe insole and conducted market research, and as a market analyst at Actinium Pharmaceuticals, tracking clinical trial progress for competing drugs. Weiss holds a Master’s Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a Physics Minor from Yeshiva University, along with time spent at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
