Nezar Tarbin is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced software solutions across multiple organizations. At Better, Nezar helped build a highly automated mortgage origination engine, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in the mortgage process. While at Storyblocks, Nezar created a user-friendly web-based video editor and developed a cloud-based video rendering engine featuring parallel concurrency and automated scaling. Currently working at Meta since December 2023, Nezar brings a wealth of expertise, previously demonstrated at Capital One, where a real-time underwriting engine for credit card applications was built and a scalable infrastructure using AWS technologies was architected. Nezar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Alabama, completed in 2018.
