Niken Priscilla

Niken Priscilla is a dedicated research scientist intern at Meta, focusing on materials and systems innovation within Reality Labs Research since June 2025. Niken has extensive academic experience at the University of Melbourne, including roles as a physics tutor, laboratory demonstrator, and diversity and equity officer for the Postgraduate Physics Students’ Society. Leadership skills were demonstrated as the president and vice president of The Optical Society (OSA) chapter at the university, along with previous positions at various educational institutions and organizations. Niken holds a PhD in Physics, a Master of Science with Distinction in Optics/Nanophotonics, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Melbourne, complemented by foundational education at Trinity College and SMA Santa Ursula.
