Nirag Kadakia

Nirag Kadakia is a seasoned researcher and educator with extensive experience in physics and neuroscience. From August 2012 to June 2017, Nirag served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California San Diego, teaching various physics topics to over 2000 students and also held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Adjunct Professor in physics. Prior to this, from September 2007 to July 2012, Nirag worked as a Research Scientist at the University at Albany, SUNY, focusing on the design and fabrication of next-generation silicon solar cells. After a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University from July 2017 to June 2022, where research centered around computational and theoretical systems neuroscience, Nirag joined Meta in June 2022 as a Research Scientist at Reality Labs. Additionally, Nirag briefly taught high school mathematics at Camden Academy Charter High School from August 2005 to May 2007 and served as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego during the fall of 2014.
