Nitin Garg is a highly experienced software engineer and technical leader with a strong academic background in computer science, holding a BS from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a Ph.D. from Princeton University. Nitin began a career in research at the University of Washington and Princeton University before transitioning to industry roles at Data Domain, where R & D work focused on file systems occurred. Following a stint as Technical Director at Data Domain/EMC and as an MTS at Datrium, Nitin held the position of Principal Engineer at Amazon Web Services. Currently, Nitin serves as a Software Engineer and tech lead for online data stores at Meta since October 2018.
