Nitin Rathi

Nitin Rathi is an experienced professional in the field of applied research and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Applied Research Scientist at Meta since August 2023. Previously, Nitin held the position of Applied Research Scientist at Meta from October 2021 to August 2023 and worked as a Machine Learning Intern at GLOBALFOUNDRIES during the summer of 2020. Nitin's research background includes significant work as a Research Assistant at Purdue University, focusing on algorithms and architectures for energy-efficient deep learning, and device design for spintronic memories at the University of South Florida. Early in the career, Nitin gained experience as a Programmer Analyst Trainee at Cognizant Technology Solutions and a Visiting Researcher at Bose Institute, where notable contributions included the development of a protein interaction network algorithm leading to the identification of disease markers for Parkinson's disease. Nitin holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology and is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University.
