Nitzan Razin

Nitzan Razin is a Research Scientist at Meta since December 2023, following a role as a Member of Research Staff at The Voleon Group from 2020 to 2023, where Nitzan focused on machine learning research for automated investment strategies and the development of predictive models for financial data. Prior to this position, Nitzan served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Caltech from 2019 to 2020, concentrating on deep learning algorithms for biological microscopy image analysis, particularly in object detection and image segmentation. Nitzan holds a PhD in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science (2013-2018), a Master's degree in Physics from the same institution (2009-2012), and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2006-2009).
