Omar Dekhil

Omar Dekhil is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Meta, Omar focuses on building end-to-end systems that ensure the integrity of live videos. Prior to this, Omar led a team at Google as a Machine Learning Engineer, where responsibilities included deploying ML models for ad classification and utilizing large language models for content classification. Earlier roles included internships at Takeda and Vodafone, as well as a senior software engineering position at Valeo. Omar holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Louisville, along with a Master's degree in Informatics and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
