Omkar Dandekar

Omkar Dandekar is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology development and team management across notable companies. At Cognex Corporation, Omkar served as Director of Engineering, successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative embedded vision and deep learning technologies that contributed significantly to revenue growth. Prior to this role, Omkar was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included advancing computational lithography technology and managing team leadership and product evolution, earning multiple recognitions for innovation. Currently, Omkar holds a leadership position in engineering at Meta, focusing on maps, geo-spatial computing, and AR/VR products.
