Opalina Vetrichelvan is a proficient software engineer currently serving as an Incoming SWE at Meta since February 2025. Previously, Opalina worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where projects included developing a maximum entropy model in Python for peptide probability distributions and analyzing mutational data to identify immunogenic epitopes in endometrial cancer patients. Opalina has also contributed to MIT's Department of Biological Engineering as an Undergraduate Researcher, developing simulations for neuronal molecular pathways.
