Oren Cainer

Oren Cainer has extensive experience in policy advisory and management roles across various sectors. From 2009 to 2011, Oren served as a Policy Advisor to Canada's Minister of Finance, focusing on international financial, trade, development, and domestic fiscal policy, while also contributing to policy and communications strategies for international conferences. Following this, Oren held the position of Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Policy and Stakeholder Relations at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development from 2011 to 2015, where responsibilities included advising the Foreign Minister on foreign policy and managing communications strategies. Oren continued to build expertise in geopolitical risk as a Director at Eurasia Group from 2015 to 2017 and later served as Senior Manager and Public Policy Lead at Deloitte from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Oren is the Global Head of Regulatory Risk Management at Meta. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University and a Master of Arts in the Political Economy of the Middle East from The Hebrew University.
