Paul Baumstarck

Paul Baumstarck is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Training Working Group Co-Chair at MLCommons since September 2025. With a solid foundation in electrical engineering, including an Engineer's Degree and a Master of Science from Stanford University, Paul has held significant roles in various esteemed organizations. These include serving as Engineering Manager at Meta, and previously at Google and YouTube, and taking on leadership roles at Airbnb and Uber. Early career experience includes software development internships at Microsoft and The MathWorks, as well as project work with the Defense Intelligence Agency and Sennheiser Electronic Corporation. Paul co-founded RBRX Corporation, where innovative programming language development was a key focus.
