Paul Casey

Paul Casey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in privacy compliance and data protection. Starting in the Office of the Victorian Information Commissioner as a Privacy Assurance Officer, Paul transitioned to the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources as an Analyst. Subsequently, Paul advanced through roles at Deloitte Australia as a Senior Analyst and later as Manager in the Risk Advisory division, focusing on privacy and data protection. In July 2021, Paul joined Telstra as a Senior Privacy Compliance Specialist and currently serves as Lead Counsel for Data Protection at Meta, beginning in November 2024. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Politics and Policy Studies, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, all from Deakin University and the College of Law.
