Paul OBrien has over two decades of experience in legal practice with a focus on competition and antitrust law. OBrien served as an Attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice from 1997 to 2012, followed by a position as Global Competition Counsel at the Federal Trade Commission from 2012 until August 2025. Currently, OBrien holds the title of Competition & Market Regulation Manager at Meta since August 2025. OBrien earned a Juris Doctor and an LLM in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
