Peter Barry

Peter Barry is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in network and software engineering, particularly in the fields of embedded systems and Internet of Things (IoT). Peter's career began at Analog Devices as an intern before progressing through roles at Tellabs, Nortel Networks, and Intel Corporation, where expertise in ARM Architecture and real-time operating systems was developed. Notably, Peter held significant positions at Jaguar Land Rover as Chief Software Architect for Autonomous Driving and at Amazon Web Services as Sr Principal Engineer, focusing on IoT security and system architecture. Currently, Peter is contributing to Meta as a Software Engineer. Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Limerick, a Certificate in Leadership and Management from Dublin Institute of Technology, and a Nano-Degree in Self Driving Car from Udacity.
