Peter de Vries

Peter de Vries has extensive experience in the technology sector, including roles such as Engineering Manager at Facebook from February 2014 to June 2022 and Software Engineer at Meta since July 2022. Prior to these positions, Peter de Vries was the owner of Skynet IA Inc., a regional ISP in Southwestern Ontario, from December 1995 to June 2003. Additionally, Peter de Vries worked as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft from June 2003 to February 2008, contributing to various client, server, and core scheduling features, as well as serving as a Senior Development Lead focusing on the scheduling engine for multiple versions of Microsoft Project. Peter de Vries holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from The University of Western Ontario, earned between 2000 and 2003.
