Peter Dodds

Peter Dodds possesses extensive experience in acoustics and audio system design, with a career spanning multiple prominent organizations. At Arup from July 2015 to April 2018, Peter served as a Consultant specializing in acoustics and audio-visual systems, significantly contributing to the development of the SoundLab platform for immersive audio experiences. Following this, Peter held roles at Meta as an Acoustic Research Engineer and later as Acoustic Research Engineering Manager from January 2021 to March 2022, and is currently an Applied Scientist focusing on Audio Algorithms. Additionally, Peter worked as a Senior Engineering Manager for Audio Systems Technology at Sonos, Inc., and was a Conservatory of Music Fellow at Bard College. Peter's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Music from New England Conservatory of Music, along with a Certificate in Machine Learning from the University of Washington.
