Phil Mertens

Phil Mertens is an experienced product leader with a robust background in developing and managing innovative solutions across prominent tech companies. At Meta from October 2018 to September 2022, Mertens served as Product Lead and Group Product Manager, leading teams to enhance Reels consumption and manage its growth and integration within Meta's ecosystem. Mertens also played a significant role as Senior Product Manager, directing the overhaul of Facebook.com for over a billion users. Prior to Meta, Mertens was a Senior Product Manager at TripAdvisor where a major redesign effort was led, particularly improving the maps experience.
