Poyi Chen

Poyi Chen is an experienced design professional with a strong background in UX and visual design. Beginning a career as a Graphic Design Intern with AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah, Poyi progressed to roles at various companies including Innovative Design, Piedmont Avenue Consulting, and IXL Learning, where contributions involved creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups. Notably, Poyi served as Lead UX Designer and UX Manager at Chegg Inc., driving user engagement and improving design operations through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Poyi has also held senior designer positions at Travana and Science Exchange, leading significant design projects and developing style guides. Currently, Poyi is a Product Designer at Meta, continuing to leverage expertise in design processes and user experience. Poyi holds an Applied Mathematics degree from the University of California, Merced, and a B.A. in Practice of Art from the University of California, Berkeley.
