Pranay Agarwal is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing large-scale backend web services and infrastructure. Pranay began his career at Qualcomm as an engineering intern and then moved to Microsoft, where from July 2011 to July 2016, Pranay developed and managed services impacting over a billion users globally. Following this, Pranay served as a senior software engineer at Slack from August 2017 to August 2019, contributing to the advancement of the Slack API Platform. Currently employed at Meta since October 2024, Pranay focuses on building infrastructure and open protocols for end-to-end encryption across various messaging applications.
