Pratik Aher

Pratik Aher is an experienced machine learning engineer with a diverse background in developing advanced systems and applications. Currently employed at Meta, Pratik has previously worked as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, where a graph-based machine learning recommendation system for Alexa was built. As a Machine Learning Engineer at Tingtun AS, a Natural Language Processing (NLP) search tool was created, greatly increasing user engagement. At JPMorgan Chase & Co., sentiment analysis systems were developed to enhance customer satisfaction, while software engineering experience involved building data pipelines for processing high transaction volumes. Additional roles include Android development and research internships, coupled with instructing business analytics at UC Berkeley School of Information, where a Master's degree was obtained. An undergraduate degree in Information Technology was earned from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering.
