Preston Pratt

Preston Pratt has extensive experience in the nuclear power industry, beginning as a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the US Navy from January 1992 to December 1997, followed by a role as a Senior Reactor Operator at PPL Corporation from January 2003 to January 2011, where responsibilities included Shift Technical Advisor and Shift Manager. Subsequently, Preston served as a Loaned Employee at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations from May 2017 to October 2018, focusing on performance monitoring and recovery. From January 2011 to July 2022, Preston held various managerial positions at the Tennessee Valley Authority, including Director of Strategic Operational Solutions and Plant Manager. Currently, Preston is the DC Facility Operations Director for Meta since August 2022. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and two Master's degrees in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with specialized training from the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations and a leadership program at Vanderbilt University.
