Rachel Behler

Rachel Behler is an accomplished researcher with a strong background in sociology and user experience. Behler holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Cornell University and has completed studies at Wellesley College and the University of Chicago as an Ivy Scholar in Epidemiology and Sociology. Behler's professional experience includes serving as a NICHD Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin and holding various positions at Meta, including Senior Research Scientist and currently Director of Research, where the focus is on generative AI strategy and research. As a Senior Research Scientist, Behler directed cross-functional workstreams to inform strategy for Facebook’s suite of apps, employing a mix of data science and qualitative research methods, and contributed to user acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
