Raffaele Capoccia is an accomplished research scientist with a strong background in engineering and image sensor technology. With a postdoctoral position at Facebook from September 2020 to July 2022, Raffaele has contributed to advanced research after completing a PhD at EPFL, focused on ultra-low noise CMOS image sensors. Prior experience includes engineering internships at INRIM and EPFL, where Raffaele worked on innovative projects involving photon detection and binocular adaptive algorithms for image resolution enhancement.
