Raj James is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in antitrust law and regulatory matters. James served at the Federal Trade Commission from May 2012 to January 2021 as an attorney in the Anticompetitive Practices Division. Prior to this role, James was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from September 2004 to May 2012 and a law clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from September 2003 to September 2004. Most recently, James held the position of Director and Associate General Counsel for Competition and Regulatory at Meta in March 2024. Raj James earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2002 and an A.B. in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Economics, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1996.
