Ram Gupta

Ram Gupta has extensive experience in ASIC physical design, having held various roles in leading technology companies. Starting as a Hardware Engineer at Cisco Systems from September 2000 to April 2005, Ram specialized in physical design, DFT, and Board STA. A transition to Open Silicon occurred next, serving as a Lead ASIC Design Engineer from April 2005 to November 2007. Ram then advanced to AppliedMicro, where from June 2011 to April 2015, the role of Engineering Manager involved overseeing processor and SoC physical design. Ram's tenure at Qualcomm as a Senior Staff Engineering Manager from April 2015 to September 2018 further solidified expertise in the field. Currently, as a Senior Manager in ASIC Physical Design at Meta since September 2018, Ram continues to influence the industry. Educationally, Ram holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Instrumentation from SGSITS Indore and a Master's degree in VLSI from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
