Ranjit Gupta is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently at Meta since August 2021, Ranjit is pioneering advancements in privacy engineering and contributing to the development of the Metaverse while overseeing the next generation of infrastructure components. Prior to this role, Ranjit served as a Software Development Manager at Amazon Web Services from February 2017 to July 2021, where leadership was provided to multiple service teams and innovative solutions for Source Control systems were developed. Ranjit also held the position of Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft from March 2013 to February 2017, successfully launching significant projects including the Azure Data Analytics Workbench and the Intent-Based Program Synthesis for Big Data handling. Ranjit holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Silchar.
