Rasiga Gowrisankar

Rasiga Gowrisankar is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in analytics and research. Rasiga began as a Summer Research Intern at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies, where a prototype for a Virtual Human interface was developed. Subsequent roles included Data Engineer at Meta, and Research Assistant at Microsoft Jim Gray Systems Lab, where experiments for dataflow pipeline integration in Microsoft Azure IoT and scalability investigations of MPP systems were conducted. Currently serving as Data Engineering Manager at Meta, Rasiga has also contributed to Teradata Aster as a Big Data Connectivity Intern. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, with a university rank of 2 out of 251, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with a perfect GPA.
