Rex Wang

Rex Wang is an accomplished music producer and audio software engineer with extensive experience in the music and technology industries. Since September 2010, Rex has been self-employed as a music producer while also serving as a co-founder at Sonic Instruments since June 2017. Rex's technical expertise was further developed during tenure as a software design engineer at Apogee Electronics from April 2021 to May 2025, followed by a current role as an audio software engineer at Meta since June 2025. Additionally, Rex contributed as a technical assistant for the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Electronic Music Week in mid-2013. Rex holds a Master of Science in Music Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Engineering from Shanghai Normal University (2010-2014).
