Ricardo Soares

Ricardo Soares is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing advanced data solutions. At Builder from June 2020 to October 2021, Ricardo developed an Object-Relational Mapping module, built an Event Processing Framework, managed databases using AWS Redshift, and created an end-to-end pipeline for processing Zoom calls. Currently at Meta since October 2021, and previously at Fractal Labs from November 2018 to May 2020, Ricardo has worked on various machine learning projects including bank transaction forecasting models and re-architecting platforms for improved scalability. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Aberdeen and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from both the University of Wolverhampton and Universidade do Algarve. Proficiencies span a variety of technologies including Python, Apache Kafka, AWS, and containerization tools.
