Richard Earley

Richard Earley is an experienced public policy professional with a focus on international relations, environmental policy, and regulatory frameworks. Richard served as Public Policy Manager for the UK at Facebook from September 2018 to February 2022. Previous roles include International Biodiversity Policy Adviser at Defra, where Richard managed the UK’s strategy for the 12th Conference of Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, and various positions at the Cabinet Office, focusing on referendums and party funding policy, as well as EU negotiations related to welfare reform. Richard's background also includes work as Deputy Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union and Adviser to the UK Board Member at the Green Climate Fund. An academic background includes an MA in European International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe and dual BA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and UCL.
