Riya is a software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and cloud security. Since August 2023, Riya has been part of the Meta Fluent AI team. Prior to this, Riya worked at Google from September 2023 to June 2025, focusing on GCP cloud security offerings, including Notebook Security Scanner and Model Armor. Riya's career at Microsoft spanned from August 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included creating REST APIs for Microsoft Viva Insights and contributing to the integration of organizational survey data. Riya also served as a software engineer intern at Microsoft, implementing a distributed caching solution. Earlier experiences include a role as Campus Business Manager at PrepBytes and an internship at Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited, gaining insights into networking services. Riya graduated with a B.Tech in Information Technology from Manipal Institute of Technology in 2021 and achieved a high academic standing throughout various educational institutions.
