Robert Cavin

Research Lead Behavioral AI

Robert Cavin is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and research. Starting as a Computer Architect at Intel Corporation, Robert played a pivotal role in the Larrabee Graphics/HPC project, contributing to its growth into a large team. Robert co-founded SaverMint, a smartphone-based loyalty program, and held various leadership positions including CEO and VP of Engineering at different companies. Notably, Robert served as Research Lead at Oculus Research, focusing on eye tracking for next-gen VR and AR, and currently leads research in Behavioral AI at Meta. Other significant roles include consulting for PlayStudios, working as Chief Architect at Qurious, and developing the Karaoke Star app. Robert holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
