Robert Hunt

Robert Hunt, PhD, is a mechanical engineer with over four years of experience in designing, testing, and validating hardware systems, particularly in haptics, fluidics, and wearables. They currently serve as a Mechatronics Engineer at Meta, where they provide engineering support for pneumatic-driven haptic gloves enhancing touch sensation in virtual reality. Robert's previous positions include internships at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, along with a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they focused on twisted and coiled polymer actuators for soft robotics. Robert holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
