Romanch Agrawal

Romanch Agrawal has extensive experience in security research and engineering management. At McAfee, Romanch contributed significantly as a Manager in the Security Research division, building the vision for the research function and enhancing the effectiveness of the company's machine learning-based anti-malware engine. Prior roles at McAfee included Research Engineer, where Romanch led research on signature-less identification of malicious programs, improving zero-day detection efficacy, and Research Intern, focusing on prototype development for detecting malicious processes using machine learning techniques. Following tenure at McAfee, Romanch served as Engineering Manager at Google, overseeing the security of Gmail against spam, phishing, and malware, and currently holds the position of Engineering Manager at Meta since March 2022.
