Rosen Baklov

Rosen Baklov is a seasoned professional in the tech industry with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Meta since February 2023, Rosen focuses on augmented reality and virtual reality projects. Previously, as Technical Director at Tencent's Lightspeed L.A. from December 2020 to February 2023, Rosen led the engine team for a AAA open-world game, overseeing technical vision and studio infrastructure. Rosen's career also includes significant roles at Amazon as Principal Engineer, and at Foundation 9 Entertainment, where leadership was demonstrated as Technical Director and Lead Technology Programmer at Double Helix Games. Rosen's early positions included Senior Programmer at Shiny Entertainment and Papaya Studio, and Programmer at Visura ltd. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Systems from the Technical University of Sofia and a Technician degree in Geodesy from Sofia High School of Construction, Architecture and Geodesy “Hristo Botev.”
