Rui Xue is a Research Scientist at Meta since September 2022, following experience as a PhD Candidate at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from November 2020 to July 2022. During the doctoral program, Rui Xue developed measurement option extensions for the Quantum Design Physics Properties Measurement System (PPMS), created a LabView program for various measurements, and constructed a closed cycle cryostat for resistivity and thermopower measurements. Previous experience also includes working as a Research Assistant, where Rui Xue contributed to the development of an online food ordering system utilizing Spring, Hibernate, and ReactJS. Rui Xue holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, achieved in 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from East Tennessee State University, completed in 2015.
