Runze Zhang

Runze Zhang is a skilled researcher and software engineer with a strong academic background in Electronic and Information Engineering and Cybersecurity. Runze completed a Bachelor's degree at 香港理工大学 with a GPA of 3.81/4.0, followed by a Master's degree in CyberSecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology, achieving a GPA of 3.83/4.0 during an exchange program at 加拿大麦吉尔大学. Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Cybersecurity at Georgia Institute of Technology, Runze has gained practical experience as a Research Scientist Intern at Microsoft, where a deep learning model was developed to detect click fraud for Bing.com, and is currently a Software Engineer Intern at Meta. Additionally, Runze serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the CYFI Lab under the supervision of Prof. Brendan Saltaformaggio, contributing to advancements in cyber forensics and innovation.
