Ryan Budish is an experienced attorney and privacy professional with a background in patent litigation and internet law. Beginning a legal career as a Law Clerk for the Hon. Karen Nelson Moore at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ryan subsequently served as a Summer Associate at Baker & Hostetler LLP. As an Associate at Covington & Burling, Ryan specialized in media, privacy, communications, health care, and state law. Ryan then held the position of Director at Herdict and spent time as Assistant Director of Research and Senior Researcher at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, focusing on cutting-edge issues in internet law and policy. Currently, Ryan is the Privacy and Public Policy Manager for Data Regulation at Meta. Ryan received a BA in Political Science and Computer Science from Swarthmore College and a JD from Harvard Law School.
