Ryan Carroll

Ryan Carroll is an experienced data professional with a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Georgia. Ryan's career began as a Peer Learning Assistant at The University of Georgia, where responsibilities included directing lab classes and leading review sessions for calculus students. Subsequently, Ryan worked as a Data Analyst at Esquire Advertising, developing analytics solutions and automating company tasks. As a Data Analytics Engineer at State Farm, Ryan improved data processing performance through the modernization of data scripts using PySpark and AWS tools. In a leadership role as Director of Data, Ryan contributed to team expansion and migration to a new Azure-based platform. Currently, Ryan serves as a Data Engineer within the Instagram/Threads organization at Meta. Additionally, Ryan has experience as a Visual Interpreter, assisting blind and low-vision individuals with various tasks.
