Ryan Whitell

Ryan Whitell is a seasoned software engineer with a diverse background in mentoring, software development, and professional athletics. With experience as a mentor at Interview Kickstart, Ryan guided aspiring software engineers in their professional growth. As a software developer at SSI, Ryan contributed to the development of a database-driven Autodesk application for naval architects. During time as a professional athlete with various hockey teams, Ryan represented communities while participating in media and charity events. Currently, at Meta's Reality Labs, Ryan leverages software engineering expertise. Prior roles also include developing machine learning infrastructure at Amazon Games and backend web services for Prime Gaming, alongside a Weintz Research Scholar Fellowship at Norwich University focused on real-time location tracking algorithms. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Regis University.
