Sam Blitzstein is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in both managerial and technical roles. As a Software Engineering Manager at Hopper from March 2023 to October 2023, Sam led a fullstack team of 8 engineers, overseeing the launch of a greenfield pilot program. Previously, at Twitter from December 2016 to October 2021, Sam served as a Staff Software Engineer, leading the Android development for major features impacting millions of users, and later managed a team focused on shipping innovative features. Earlier experience includes roles at Yes Inc as a founding Software Engineer, where Sam contributed to the development of a photo-sharing app, and at Google as an Android developer for Google Calendar.
