Sam L. has a diverse background in social impact and entrepreneurship, currently working at Meta in the Social Impact department since 2022. Prior to this, Sam held various roles at Facebook from 2019 to 2022, focusing on sectors such as Entertainment, Media, and Education, in addition to experience in Pharma and Wellness. As the Founder and Executive Director of the Social Entrepreneurship Learning Lab from 2017 to 2020, Sam established Austin's first youth fellowship for social enterprise, enabling young individuals to engage in nonprofit and mission-driven initiatives. Additional experiences include project management at The University of Texas at Austin in 2017, co-founding and serving as COO of Driven from 2015 to 2017 to assist individuals experiencing homelessness, and serving on the University Securities Investment Team as Marketing Director. Sam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Business Honors Program in Management from The University of Texas at Austin and furthered education at the National University of Singapore.
