Sam Tazzyman

Sam Tazzyman is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in managing data-driven projects and leading teams. Currently serving as a Data Engineering Manager at Meta since July 2021, Tazzyman previously held multiple leadership roles at the Ministry of Justice UK, including Head of Data Engineering and Analytical Platform, and two key positions within the Data Science Hub focusing on Criminal Justice and Corporate Analytics. Tazzyman's expertise encompasses developing advanced analytical solutions, predictive modeling, and ensuring quality assurance in complex data environments. Additionally, Tazzyman has experience in operational research from the Department for Work and Pensions, where a stochastic dynamic micro-simulation logistic regression model was developed. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Theoretical Biology and an MRes in Modelling Biological Complexity from University College London, along with a Mathematics degree from the University of Warwick.
