Sam Wagner is an experienced software engineer and engineering manager with a solid background in technology and product development. Wagner's career began with internships at Vistaprint and Appian Corporation in 2011. Following this, Wagner held various roles at Facebook and Meta from 2013 to 2024, contributing to projects such as Facebook Groups, Privacy teams, and the implementation of campaigns for the Ads Product team. As a co-founder and CTO at Maven Labs between 2016 and 2018, Wagner developed a social experience data platform, including the 'Maven Date Nights' chatbot service. Currently, Wagner focuses on supporting the VR Explore team at Meta and building integrations for Rayban Meta Smart Glasses. Wagner holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Brown University, completed in 2012.
