Samuel Bald is an accomplished software engineer and data scientist with experience in machine learning and deep learning applications. Samuel's tenure at Moat included detecting invalid traffic through analysis of ad session attributes and optimizing an image classification pipeline as a part-time software engineer. Currently serving as a software engineer focused on machine learning at Meta since May 2022, Samuel previously contributed as a research assistant at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, where research focused on deep learning, interpretability, and machine learning theory.
