Samuel Chen

Samuel Chen has extensive experience in financial management and analysis, particularly within the tech industry. From October 2011 to January 2014, Samuel held various positions at Solar Turbines, including Business System Analyst, Corporate Staff Accountant, and Systems Implementation Test Lead. Following this, Samuel worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at TIBCO Software Inc. from October 2015 to July 2016, focusing on both Corporate FP&A and Product & Technologies FP&A. Since February 2017, Samuel has been employed at Meta and Oculus VR as a Finance Manager, leading the finance teams for Metaverse Product Finance and Content Finance, as well as overseeing finance for hardware and operations, software product and engineering, and AR/VR experiences. Samuel also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for the UCSD Economics Department in late 2010. Samuel holds a B.S. degree from the University of California, San Diego, and graduated from The Rady School of Management.
