Samuel D.

Samuel D. is a Senior Research Scientist at Meta, with a robust background in research and academia. Prior to joining Meta in October 2024, Samuel held similar positions at Abacus.AI and the University of Maryland. Samuel has also gained experience as an Applied Scientist II Intern at Amazon and as a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems. Notably, Samuel served as a Research Scientist at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency from 2014 to 2018. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Chicago, as well as multiple advanced degrees in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and The George Washington University.
