Saqib Javed

Saqib Javed is a Doctoral Researcher at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, specializing in Energy-Efficient and Resource-Constrained Deep Networks. Prior experiences include a role as a Researcher at ETH Zürich, working on mixed-precision neural networks for object detection as part of a Master Thesis. Saqib has held various research internships at Agile Robots AG, BMW Group, Intel Corporation, Siemens, Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics, and GE Healthcare, focusing on deep learning model optimization, hardware/software neural network optimization, and machine learning applications. Saqib earned a Master of Science in Communications Engineering from Technical University Munich, a second Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ETH Zürich, and a Bachelor of Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
